Delaney Creek Park

This website is for information purposes only.  All reservations must be called in or in person.

Our Park is open 365 days a year! 

Entry fee is $5.00 per car/truck.

If you are pulling a boat there is an additional $2.00 fee. 

Our eighty-eight acre lake sets on 326 acres of country wilderness. 

We are owned and operated by Washington County Indiana. 

Physical address for your GPS - 8215 N Delaney Park Rd, Scottsburg, IN 47170. 

If you like fishing the most popular catch here is blue gill, red ear, cat and bass. 

If you like hiking there is a trailhead for the Knobstone Trail located in the back of the park. 

If you plan on hiking the trail and staying over night on the trail

please contact DNR to register. 

If you like swimming, basketball, and volleyball those activities are available to all visitors.

Swimming is at your own risk (no lifeguards) and you MUST STAY within the designated swimming area.

Beach is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. 

All camping and cabin rentals are a two night minimum on weekends from April 15-November 1. 

Holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day) require a 3 night minimum.

If you like camping you have your choice of camper/RV camping in the Modern area

or tent camping in the Primitive area. 

Modern camping includes water and electric hook ups. 

Primitive camping is total roughing it and NO campers/RVs allowed.     

If you want the home features, we have cabins and lodges available to rent. 

We have four Deluxe Cabins, three Rustic Cabins, four Primitive Cabins and two Lodges. 

If you just need a place to have an event, you can rent one of two shelter houses available or the Pavilion. 

If you just want to picnic, we have a beautiful lake view area for you.

For the hunters, we do not allow hunting on park property, but state property is all around us.
